Information about the procedure under which the Bank submits and obtains from the Credit Register of the Bank of Latvia (hereinafter – “Credit Register”) the information about the borrower, as well as about the procedure under which the borrower may obtain information about himself available in the Credit Register.
The Bank subject to the terms and conditions of the Credit Register of the Bank of Latvia shall submit to the Credit Register information about the borrower and his/her obligations within five working days upon the entry into force of the agreement, under which the borrower receives financial service with credit risk.
Periodic information about the borrower’s balance of liabilities shall be provided within ten working days after the end of the reporting period (calendar quarter). Information about breach of the borrower’s obligations shall be included in the Credit Register within five working days upon occurrence of the following condition:
the borrower has delay in payments laid down in the agreement under which the borrower receives financial service, that exceeds 60 calendar days and amount of all overdue payments, incl. default interest and contractual penalty, reaches 150 EUR or equivalent of this amount in foreign currency.
The Bank submits to the Credit Register the information about execution of delayed payment within five working days after payment in full of all overdue payments laid down in the agreement under which the borrower receives financial service with credit risk. The Bank obtains the information about the borrower, his/her liabilities, balance of liabilities and process of their fulfilment etc. from the Credit Register within one working day of submission of the request.
The Borrower may obtain information about himself/herself available in the Credit Register in accordance with the procedure established by the Regulations for the Credit Register of the Bank of Latvia:
in person in the Bank of Latvia, by presenting the identity paper – within one working day after receipt of the written application;
by certified mail with delivery notification to the addressee personally against his/her signature – within five working days after receipt of the written application;
interactively, by authenticating on the Register’s website for electronic service of natural persons (https://manidati.kreg.lv) with the use of the identity document issued in the Republic of Latvia – within one working day after the borrower’s authentication on the Register’s website for electronic service of natural persons.
Information is provided to the Borrower in person or to his/her guardian or to the authorized person. To receive information, the recipient of information must present to the Bank of Latvia a document proving his/her identity and, depending on status of the recipient, – the ruling of the orphans’ court about designation of the guardian, if the information is received by the guardian, or the power of attorney certified by a notary about entitlement to receive information from the Credit Register, if the information is received by the authorized person.
