The Green Card can be compared to the MTPL policy, because the risk coverage is the same, but the area of responsibility is extended: the certificate of insurance is valid in the member states of the Green Card system (Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Israel, Macedonia, Morocco, Montenegro, Moldova, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine)

Show the vehicle registration certificate

You will need a valid vehicle registration certificate. It is also sufficient if you know at least 2 numbers: the vehicle licence plate number and the vehicle registration certificate number or the owner’s ID number
