Succession account

The person specified as the beneficiary of the funds on presentation of the death certificate and documents certifying funeral expenses (invoices, contracts, etc.).

You may apply for the pay-out of the funds within 30 days of the date of issuing the death certificate.

Upon arrival at the Bank, the beneficiary must submit the necessary documents and complete a Written Undertaking certifying that he or she will receive the funds in cash and that he or she will reimburse the funds in the event of claims by heirs or third parties.

A customer service specialist of PNB Banka will issue cash within two banking business days after receiving and examining the documents.

The amount envisaged for reimbursement of funeral expenses is paid out based on documents certifying the funeral expenses, but not more than EUR 3,000. The funds are paid out once in full.
